Family & Farm

In 1975, Cheryl and Ron Stewart packed up their three young boys and left San Jose in a motorhome, chasing a longtime dream: to grow real fruit on real land. That journey led them to a 95-acre farm in Hood River, Oregon, where they planted their first trees and started learning as they went, driven by curiosity, grit, and a love for good food.

By 1989, with Cheryl’s background in nutrition and their sons’ growing interest in sustainability, the family made the shift to organic farming. Going organic wasn’t a statement. It was a natural step forward.

That same spirit lives on in every bottle of CoGo Juice: organic, rooted in tradition, and made with care from farm to fridge.

Good soil, better fruit.

Tucked into the volcanic soil of Hood River Valley, our farm is rooted in one simple belief: great fruit starts with great land. Over the years, our family has expanded the orchard with an additional 80 acres, drawn to this valley’s mineral-rich soil and ideal growing conditions. Every tree we plant is nurtured with care and grown with purpose...always organic, always for the good of your body and the planet.

Since opening our doors in 1994, we’ve transformed nearly 30 million pounds of scraps into nutrient rich soil!

We take extra steps to close the natural loop in our production practices. All cast-off fruit, peels, and other organic greenwaste go right into our 5-acre compost field. A special composting system creates rich, fertile, 100% organic soil for the orchards. The proof is in the fruit! Take care of Nature and she’ll take care of you.
